Share Your Story

QRKIEZ values the many voices of our neurodiverse community. We want to hear your stories, whether you’re a neurodivergent individual, a parent or family member or friend of someone who is, or a mentor, coach, or professional therapist who helps or works with neurodivergent people. All ages and experiences are welcome.

If you’re interested in your sharing your stories, please fill out the form on this page. Here are some ideas you might explore:

  • How you as a neurodivergent person or parent of someone who is neurodivergent have faced a challenge and overcome it.
  • How you would like to be seen as a neurodivergent person.
  • Stories about your transition between different phases of your life: e.g., from high school to college, from college to the work world, or discovering your neurodivergence later in life.
  • Stories about your experiences as a neurodivergent individual in the workplace.
  • What you would like to share with other neurodivergent people or with people who are not neurodivergent in an effort to increase their understanding.
  • What fun things do you like to do that you feel are an extension of your neurodivergence?

Contributor Guidelines

  • Blog posts: Our length requirements are “not too long, not too short.” A blog post less than 8 paragraphs probably won’t be long enough, and one that is longer than 20 paragraphs may be a bit too long. Your mileage may vary. Please review some of the posts on the QRKIEZ blog for examples of length. Depending on the content, blog posts may be promoted on our Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts.
  • Videos: We welcome self-recorded videos, or we’d be happy to conduct a video interview as well. In general, less than 5 minutes won’t be long enough, and something longer than 20 or 30 minutes may be too long. We would also appreciate a short 15-second greeting and intro for use on social media. Videos will be shared on our YouTube channel and our website, and we may promote them on our Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts as well.

We look forward to hearing from you!
