QRKIEZ COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Qrkiez exists to help parents, caregivers, neurodivergent individuals, and professionals connect, share experiences, and find supportive resources. These Community Standards are designed to keep Qrkiez safe, respectful, and useful for everyone.
By participating in Qrkiez communities, you agree to follow these standards in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Our Community Values
Qrkiez is built on respect for lived experience, empathy and inclusion, support without judgment, and safety over sensationalism.
We welcome diverse perspectives, but not at the expense of others’ dignity or well-being.
2. Allowed Content
The following content is generally allowed on Qrkiez:
Personal experiences and stories
Users may share their own journeys, challenges, learnings, or progress related to neurodivergence, parenting, caregiving, education, wellness, or support services.
General, non-prescriptive information
Users may discuss therapies, approaches, tools, or resources at a high level, provided such content is not framed as medical advice or guarantees.
Community support and encouragement
Respectful discussion, empathy, validation, and peer support are encouraged.
Resource sharing
Links to articles, books, podcasts, programs, or tools may be shared, including non-medical resources, as long as they are presented responsibly and without misleading claims.
3. Prohibited Content
The following content is not allowed on Qrkiez:
Medical or clinical advice
Users may not provide personalized diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or instructions to stop or replace professional care. Content should not present any therapy, supplement, or protocol as a guaranteed cure or outcome.
Qrkiez is not a medical platform, and content must not be framed as professional medical advice.
Harmful or dangerous content
Content that encourages or promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or dangerous activities is prohibited.
Harassment, hate, or discrimination
Harassment, threats, intimidation, hate speech, or discrimination based on disability, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or any protected characteristic are not permitted. Dismissing or shaming others’ lived experiences is also prohibited.
Misinformation presented as fact
False or misleading claims related to health, development, safety, or well-being, including conspiracy theories framed as truth or content intended to cause fear or panic, are not allowed.
Exploitation or spam
Unsolicited promotion, deceptive outreach, repeated spam, impersonation, or misrepresentation is prohibited outside of designated areas.
Health Information & Resources
Qrkiez may surface or allow sharing of articles, blogs, publications, and external links related to neurodivergence, caregiving, education, or life skills. These resources are provided for general informational and community purposes only.
Qrkiez does not independently verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or medical validity of any resource. Content shared on the platform should not be relied upon as medical, therapeutic, or clinical advice. Users are encouraged to consult qualified professionals for personalized guidance.
4. Sensitive Topics and Safety
Users may discuss difficult or sensitive topics, including mental health challenges, caregiving stress, or developmental concerns. However:
Qrkiez is not an emergency or crisis response service. Content encouraging harm or unsafe behavior is not permitted. Moderators may remove or restrict content that poses a safety risk.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
5. Children and Sensitive Information
Parents and caregivers may share information about minors at their own discretion.
Users should not share identifying information about a child without appropriate authorization. Highly sensitive documents, such as medical records or educational plans, should not be posted in public communities.
Qrkiez does not verify, validate, or endorse information shared by users.
6. Service Providers and Professionals
Service providers participating in Qrkiez communities must be transparent about their role and credentials.
Providers must avoid presenting content as individualized medical or clinical advice and must respect the purpose and boundaries of each community.
Participation in a community does not imply endorsement, verification, or approval by Qrkiez.
Verification status reflects completion of a platform verification process and does not imply endorsement, supervision, or approval of services by Qrkiez.
7. Moderation and Enforcement
Qrkiez uses a combination of community moderators, automated systems, and user reports to enforce these Community Standards.
Enforcement actions may include content removal, warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent account suspension.
Moderators act solely to enforce platform rules and community safety. They do not validate content, verify credentials, or provide professional oversight.
Qrkiez may take enforcement action at its discretion and is not obligated to provide advance notice.
8. Reporting Content
Users may report content that violates these Community Standards using in-app reporting tools or by contacting contact@qrkiez.com.
9. No Guarantees
Qrkiez does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content, the qualifications of community participants, or outcomes from resources, discussions, or provider connections.
Users should exercise independent judgment and seek professional guidance when appropriate.
10. Updates to These Standards
Qrkiez may update these Community Standards from time to time. Continued participation in the platform constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
